Hamlin Chessman was spotted today in Belgium with an official SNAOTR badge on his jersey while worming up for today’s Maasmechelen Grand Prix.
It is fairly well known that Alberta 1 has joined the new “Symbiotic North American OCM Trade Relationship”. However some fans are questioning, “Alberta 1 supposedly joined SNAOTR when it was formed 5 months ago, why is it that they are starting to display the official badge now?” Some even say that Alberta 1 probably isn’t an official member of the elite trade relationship at all, and are accusing team management of using the badge to gain publicity in an attempt to increase revenue from merchandise sales.
We later caught up with the general manager of Alberta 1 and questioned him about the new decals and the validity of his SNAOTR involvement.
“Alberta 1 is defiantly a member of SNAOTR!” replied Sean. “Just look at any one of the 11 deals we have made with fellow SNAOTR members. If they don’t show that we are members of the community then I don’t know what does.” Then he added with a grin “except maybe an official badge.”
When asked why the badges showed up so late Sean looked irritated and said they got lost in the mail, some ware between the SNAOTR headquarters in Massachusetts the Canada/USA border.
“After I had waited for a while I requested a new set of badges to be sent by courier, and am proud to display them on the Alberta 1 jerseys.
Some members of the public are still sceptical though, and ask why the badge doesn’t appear on the jerseys of some of the most prominent SNAOTR members.
Sean replied by stating “Other teams can display or not display the badge at their choosing, that is entirely up to them.”

Hmm, I like the Idea, but it doesn't really go with my current design, I'll have to think of something else... might have to change my "Alberta Yellow" to "Buckmasters Orange" I've been accused my current jerseys look like bee uniforms anyway lol
We've decided our "Buckmasters Orange" scheme looks good... What's everybody else think? If you think about Alberta/Massachusetts/Texas (Alpine = Toronto?), the common denominator seems to be that there's a lot of deerhunting (and our dad hunts lol)...
Brian and I are also experimenting with "North American looks" such as "hunter camo"- orange/green/brown lines. We'll come up with somethin that's both unique and aesthetically pleasing.
That's actually a great idea. How about a SNAOTR line on our jerseys? That we can actually all put on them? Red is clearly North America's color, but might I suggest pink?? "SNAOTR is teaming up to promote breast cancer research..." Check out my jersey and see what you think!
